Week Three

Week three kicked ass. We got to edit the entire class which was awesome. I like how we were allowed to do that limiting the amount of homework we had. Final Cut Pro is a pretty awesome program. It can get slightly irratating but overall the user interface is pretty excellant. The problem I had was turning goofy footage into more serious footage. My first 20 seconds came out perfectly like I wanted to but then I ran out of footage to fully continue the story how I wanted to. This problem didnt allow me to get a lot of the project done but that was okay because I was so thrilled with my first 20 seconds. I edited the footage to points where people had no expressions or looked sad. This allowed me to capture the mood that I was looking for. Ultimately, I had to go with a slighlty less serious route but I really enjoyed how my first editing project came out. It was mad and crazy but that was the goal.
